APOCALYPTICA's New CD Enters German, Finnish Charts At No. 5

Finnish cello-rockers APOCALYPTICA have entered the German and Finnish album charts at position No. 5 with their latest CD, "Apocalyptica".

As previously reported, SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo guested on "Apocalyptica" on a song called "Betrayal/Forgiveness". The track, which is described by APOCALYPTICA's Perttu Kivilaakso as a "really fast, thrash metal-influenced song," marks the second time Lombardo has played on an APOCALYPTICA CD, having previously performed on 2003's "Reflections".

Lombardo recorded the drum tracks for "Betrayal/Forgiveness" at Finnvox studios in Helsinki when SLAYER's "Unholy Alliance" tour hit Finland in October.

APOCALYPTICA are currently supporting German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN on a European tour. The group's first-ever North American tour will kick off March 15 in New York City. A complete listing of the currently confirmed tour dates can be found at this location.
